Best Buy announces China steps

Best Buy, the electronics chain, has become the latest US retailer to announce plans to expand into China, saying it intends to open test stores there in the next 12 to 18 months.
The company said in a statement that as it learned more about Chinese consumers it “expects to consider strategic investments of a manageable size” in the country.
