that short run cost is different than the one in long run. basically, what that says is that you might suffer some "cost restructure" in the short run, but in the long period of time, people will find alternatives to replace those relatively expensive factors. for instance, instead of taking cab everyday, you can carpool or use public transportation. you will be "forced" to bring you cost down and reach a new equilibrium point. - just finished my finals yesterday hence i am all fired up when reading your stuff.
