I hope time is the function to everything and things will be evolved to become better and people become more civilized and more decent. As a former blue collar plus redneck I can tell you one thing: been there, done that, and heard all! Do you know Chinese has 36 tricks? I picked up the best one and here I am, a self-made average Chinese American, no halo but a straw hat when cutting grass; no ivory tower but a poor hard worker thinking how to make two ends meet. Never thought about haigui though, but only have created some jobs in China, not for charity, mind you, but in a win-win situation. Whenever I can, do something to help poor kids in China for their education. Education is the golden key to the doors of hope and spritual freedom. But do you know when we were young all the books were burned up except one kind of book? Talking about crying? We had no tears when we were kids. We were taught how to hate certain people. Young MM, check with your parents if they went through 10 year cultural revolution, ok? Poverty? I was a poor kid. Being poor is good. I had nothing to fear and nothing to lose. Poor and simple. Sometimes I still miss that time. People my age think little and talk few but do it. What is the use just being angry? hurt yourself and hurt my heart.
