The Backdoor.Powerspider Trojan is an MFC application. It is packed with PECompact and gives its creator unauthorized access to your computer.

Backdoor.Powerspider Trojan attempts to disable some antivirus, firewall, and system-monitoring programs by terminating processes. This Trojan also steals information and sends email messages to the Trojan's creator.

Also Known As: Backdoor.Powerspider.310 [Kaspersky], BackDoor-AKM [McAfee]

Systems Affected: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Me
