What make me feel uncomfortable is not the fact that you are critical, but the way your give your critical comments.
To claim that a research article is 80% copy is a serious allegation, unless you have concrete evidence. Such comment (if without support) is an insult from a research academic perspective. I did not know Lang personally, but I respect him from a research academic perspective,especially with the proof (hard evidence) that he could get his paper published in a top jounal.
As far as the content of this specific article is concern, I do not know the topic well enough to give comments and it is not my position to defend or comment on whether it is good or not.
My comments was purely out of the uneasiness aroused by your critical comments which was a bit too much and without support.
Besides, academic level is decided by jounal publication (if you know how research is judged), so please,stop saying that Lang's academic level is low, as you claimed in another post. I doubt who could be HIGH in academic level if Larry Lang is termed LOW in today's Finance field in China.
