Unfortunately, I could not find the relocation company's address anymore. In case, my company paid all the bills. The relocation firm can come to your house to help you pack everything and deliver up to Shanghai or Shenzhen. If they have a partner in China, the partner should be able to further send your stuff to your place (that happens to us. Too bad, we didn't have a 4000 Dollar mattress.)
As for tax, I think if you claim that you will return back to US, and if you have some kind of overseas status, the custom should not charge you taxes. I don't recall I ever paid any taxes.
I am sure more people have that experiences.
