A slow day , not too bad but could be better.
3/17 Wednesday
8am
got up, took shower, had breadfast - 1 fresh tomato, 1 egg and half glass of milk. Scanned through today's paper
9am
Drove to work, only 10-min ride. Traffic is very good - the economy in the valley is still very slow. Checked email, responded to urgent requests from my peers across the country and over the pond.
10am
Meetings - boring. Luckily not many actions required from my side.
Worked on various tasks scheduled for today.
12:30PM
lunch - today I had some leftover from last night cooked by my wife. I usually eat very healthy at lunch - either green salad or Subway, sometimes have lunch dates with friends/co-workers. Too bad I can't find many lunch buddies lately since I often found myself caught in work until 12:30 or 1pm...
Walked two miles and had some fresh air, feeling good.
1:30pm
Back to work... another meeting - not very productive, had to find time to work on my presentation for a major customer...very time consuming.
3pm
My meeting. Things are falling behind, thanks god that I found it out earlier enough. More action items on the plate now. Sent out meeting minutes.
4pm
Another meeting - can i find time to finish my work?
5pm
Conference call with my peers over the pond, discussed about various issues.
6pm
Another conference call...
7pm
left office, wife waiting at home, dinner's ready...I was starving although i had an energy bar earlier.
8pm
Had a walk with my wife, played basketball for a while.
9pm
Haiguinet...hahaha. Watch TV; online chatting；Mozart is playing at the side: very soothing makes me relaxed
Will go to bed at 12
It's one of my plain but peaceful days. Nothing fancy, no chance to "flirt" unless I travel out of town...Of course, if we have kids, things would be a little different.
