Job Location: Suzhou
This company is a premier global supplier of a broad range of integrated systems, modules and components to the motor vehicle industry. The company serves light vehicle, commercial truck, trailer and specialty original equipment manufacturers and certain aftermarkets.
Job Responsibilities:
upstream supply chain, including sourcing and purchasing, logistics and warehousing, internal including production and material planning, material & inventory management and budgeting, factory demand planning, site escalation person for logistics and material issues to supplier
downstream from customer order to delivery of finished goods, including order receipt and entry, order administration and commitments, all logistics activities for finished goods and configuration and customization (e.g. warehousing, transportation)
optimize all ERP and other IT tools, make recommendations on enhancements and assist in implementation
assisting procurement on all new part launch issues
assisting factory manufacturing on any production related issues
standards & operational procedures implementation and supervision
sales and operational process ownership
direct assistance to procurement on managing supply base
co-owns the implementation of VMI with procurement
assist in the development of a total end to end supply chain mapping, redesign and making recommendations on improvement projects
supervising implementation of improved supply chain designs (physical flows), organizations and processes within the site including pull, Kan Ban
cost reductions projects, transportation and logistics, improving planning efficiency, inventory reductions projects
team management including: competency development, appraisal & motivation, recruitments and trainings
manage all yearly planning activities
Key Requirements:
university degree or equivalent education with at least of five to seven years’ experience
previous experience in supply chain a must
management experience recommended
multinational experience a plus
other business function a plus including finance, operations, or sales
