Testability Tech Lead
Responsibilities:
·Pro-actively identifying and troubleshooting QA pre-release environment and build issues (e.g. web and app server troubleshooting)
·Enforcing and managing QA entry and release criteria
·Communicating effectively with developers, release management, build engineers, and QA engineers at various levels in the hierarchy
·Coverage of "US night" / CN day shift / IN day shift" within the team
·Proposing and researching automation tools, scripts, and processes to improve release regression testing
·Involve in the new tool development, or enhancement of the existing tools the team owns or uses
·Developing and on-going maintenance of scripts
·Back-end/front-end testing as needed
Required Skills
·Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
·5+ years experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications
·Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and enterprise application development in Java and Oracle
·Strong working knowledge of Perl, Html or xml, PL/SQL and Internet working experience
·Experienced in QA and good understanding of QA methodology
·Proactive in solving problems
·Strong project management skills
·Excellent communication skills in English
·Excellent time management skills
·Working knowledge with automation tools, such as Selenium is definitely a plus
·Working knowledge with Ruby is a plus
