The first apartment I rented after I graduated from school was one bedroom, the rent was only 900. it was a high-rise condo with valet parking. The owner was very picky about people renting her condo. she would rather lower the price to have someone she likes to stay there. I was very lucky. it was right by the lake on Addison Str. -- right by the famous "the new york" apartment building. I could see the beautiful lake view from the windows.
