a couple of years ago I hired a local guy as plant controller with $75K+housing+car. Currently average compensation for this position in Shanghai is around $85K. Keep in mind, when you compare the compensation of same title, you have to consider his/her responsibility scope (revenue/asset size).
In fact I am really worry about whether I can find this kind of person to join in my team with $100K comp.If not, I have to go for expat package which will cause my company big bucks.
