By the way, there seems to be an observable pattern: the type of parents who are OBSESSED with elaborate techniques of raising their children, are usually (though not always) those who have not been much satisfied with their own achievements in life. i.e. those who underperformed in their own life endeavors.
It's of course not 100% -- but I guess 70-80% is not an overstatement.
