Is NZ education really as good as it is made out to be? I don't know cause I feel like the teachers dont teach you anything. For example, in math we are doing logs and someone asked 'what exactly is log' and the teacher said that 'no one really knows'. Then she told us to copy off stuff on the board. Then we have math assignmnets which noone actually knows how to do so we copy each other and some asian students hire tutors to teach them math and I think the only reason our class (the 'extention class')
manages to still do well in math is because we spend time at home, learning what we havent been taught. This goes for other subects too.
