any "love" story, we need to hear both she said and he said. Chinese media should not be the only information source we pay attention to. Here is the fact, US treasury/GDP and stumulus plan cost/GDP is among the lowest in G7. Nevertheless, that does not mean I support current US economic policy since it is basically using real money to fill the hole of "fake"money. And those good money has to be paid by my son someday. Well, regarding Chinese gov. to increase gold reserve, I think it is more important to know how to do it. I remmeber last Nov, the gold price shot up 5% in a day just because the rumor said Beijing MAY want to increase gold reserve. I was lucky to make some profit that day basing on pure TA. You see my point? Furthermore, the gold won't give you any yield and our currencies were not backed up by gold anyway. I remmeber in 2005, Economist described global booming was driven by over consumption by American and over production by Chinese. I think that is right on the point. Thus, we all hope US can get out of this hole ASAP. At last, if we study history carefully, especially the emerging of Spain, UK and USA, we can not draw the conclusion that the down fall of US helps the rising of China.
Anyhow, I appreciate your point of view and welcome more meaningful discussion here rather than some kind of empty minded wishful thinking.
