first i have to state that i just found the different version of the similiar article, so i feel that i'd put that here. This is NOT my production,i don't want to get blame for it:)

i am a newbie here. the atmasphere is quite interesting, it seems a nice community. i would like to share something with everyone here, any comments and inputs are welcome.

despite of what he said, certainly the guy looks at things in a different angle. he obviously looks quite immature in my point of view, but i am not going to stand up and say something nasty about him. i have NO comment about what he believes, that is NONE of my business. this is a free world, isn't it? everyone has rights to say whatever he/she feels like. apparently the guy got some issues, man, he got an attitude Smile

. i feel entertaining about what he said.

regarding traditional chinese culture, he is quite disrespectful, arrogant. sure, probably he is to some extent. i can't agree with his "royal family" philosophy.definitely feeling good about himself by putting others down is wrong, which is from his deep insecurity. also i thought he should have shown some respects to people he put in that comparison. maybe he could have been more calm and known himself better.

but in a democratic society, we have to learn to deal with difference and criticism better. NO personal attack, period. we can't judge people by where they are from, what they say, how they look like. we can't say nasty things because we don't like what we hear and something is so different from what we expect. i sort of like his attitude and frankness in some extents. i like people who are honest, even honesty hurts sometimes. young people should be aggessive, ambitious(i would put arrogant here, but i am afraid of sarcasm Smile

), aiming high. i don't like people who don't have balls to show who they are. i don't like the idea that young people shouldn't be better than old ones and should follow everything old folks tell them to do. we have been living in a society that we have been told to listen to our parents at home, listen to our teachers at school, and listen to our supervisors at work. we have too many rules.(trust me, i got a lot of to say about that topic, maybe later i got time to do so).

it does feel good by breaking rules now and then, doesn't it Smile

. nothing is impossible. being yourself is critical IMHO. finally, ego rules, we are where we are because of that, don't ever never forget that.
