Position Description:
The role is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Trade and Risk Management team in Asia. Reuters’ Trade and Risk Management solutions business continues to grow in Asia, with numerous projects implementing front to back office STP solutions around the region. The role is an integral and vital part of a project implementation team, deploying multiple solutions systems at any given time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define, document and execute small to large implementation projects, actively participating in all phases of the project including

a. Identification, assessment and management of risks to the success of the project.

b. Agree terms of reference to enable costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to be estimated.

c. Responsibility to ensure project deliverables are demonstrably fit for purpose.

d. Management of the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project stakeholders and ensure full impact of significant changes are understood by project stakeholders.

e. Ensure all parties are aware of project scope and milestones. Ability to highlight divergence from that scope, and adjusts it where necessary to reflect changing circumstances.

2. Understand and Enhance relationships at all levels including:

a. Working with project team and project team Line Managers
b. Working with clients at various levels defined by project governance
c. Liaise with parties external to the project
d. Leverage expertise of other project management staff


Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:

Mandatory
• 4+ years experience in Project Management role •
• Experience with a recognised project management process with pragmatic application
• Knowledge and understanding of financial instruments/theory/business practice/settlement operations and workflows from front office to back office
• Knowledge of Risk Management in Financial Institutions and Banking
• Able and willing to travel
• Good spoken and written English

Highly Desirable
• Degree level qualification in finance, accounting, economics, or similar
• Excellent presentation and written skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Team leadership experience
• Prince II, PMP or similar Project Management Qualification
• Knowledge of Reuters Risk and trade management products suite e.g. Kondor+, KTP, KGL, KVAR

Conceptual Thinking
Identifies and explains the connections between situations and to spot the underlying issues in complex situations. At this level this means applying previously learned concepts.
