The Managed Home Business Unit (MHBU) is a new, dynamic, organization which is responsible worldwide for creating devices which deliver digital media from inside and outside the home to the customer’s TVs and entertainment systems.

job description
Responsible for cost, terms, and ongoing supplier relationships
* Work with the cross functional team to support and deliver the business requirements such as product specification, cost targets, schedules, forecasts and logistics
* Long term relationships with Asian suppliers
* Perform risk assessment and provide suggestions to team for financial investment decisions.
* Develop and execute the WW partner strategy and perform RFQ's.
* Coordinate and leverage with other HP procurement organizations.
* Establish sourcing strategy for new technologies to support Managed Home products.
* Negotiate business terms and pricing with suppliers.
* Develop business contract with suppliers including agreement on product pricing, delivery, quality, and support.
* Work with cross functional team to structure inbound/outbound logistics to support overall program.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study, with a minimum of 8 years related experience. Master’s degree is a plus.
* 5+ years procurement experience with Asian Suppliers.
* 3+ years of project management experience.
* 3+ years of contract negotiation experience.
* 5+ years of supply chain experience.
* Consumer Electronic product Supply Chain or Procurement experience within the past 3 years.
* Expertise in analysis of pricing and technology trends.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
* Proven ability to communicate on all levels of management, internal and external.
* Excellent presentation skills to different levels of management.
* Ability to mulitask effectively.

* Creativity
Mutlilingual - Mandarin a plus
