Thank you for the friendly reminder! Actually we just went to see an open house this afternoon. The thing is... everything is so darn overpriced here... might take another 2-3 years for inflation to gradually absorb the bubble. Buying a house is different from buying a stock, and requires more patience I think -- I wouldn't live in a company, but I'll have to physically live in a house.
Do you think it's time to buy some index funds (US and emerging markets)? I've been doing that for a while (trying to "dollar cost average" 'cause the market is as stable as San Andreas Fault), and just watching the market going down and down... oh yeah, what fun... I wouldn't want to try to time the market bottom, just for long term investment...
