Job Title: Sales Director for Mainland China
Location:Shanghai
Job Description:Reporting to the Executive Partners of the Products Operating Group, the appointee will be required to:
Generate sales of management and technology consulting services from clients in the following industries:
- Transportation and travel services, with focus on Ports, Shipping and/or Logistics
Formulate sales strategy and account plan as well as estimating the corresponding sales budget
Responsible for implementing agreed sales strategies and account plan to achieve assigned sales targets;
Generate sales leads, lead the sales and marketing activities
Maintain client relationship at senior management level of target client organizations
Develop and continuously maintain the power map of the target client organizations
Manage the alliance relationship with major IT products vendors/suppliers
Work closely with the project team and other IT products vendors to develop proposals, in terms of,
Identify buyer values of key decision makers within the client organization and the corresponding decision making process
Formulate opportunity sales strategy and key sales messages to meet client buyer values
Understand the sales strategy, strengths and weaknesses of key competitors
Identify and define issues, problems and challenges faced by the client
Formulate the solution approach and framework for the client
Formulate the pricing strategy
Conduct win/loss review with key client decision makers and summarize lessons learned.
The appointee should possess:
Extensive network and business relationships with major players in the industries of Ports, Shipping and/or Logistics;
Extensive network and sales experiences of professional services and/or IT services from major players in the industries of Ports, Shipping and/or Logistics;
At least 8 years working experiences in similar fields;
Former or retired senior executives from major players in the industries of Ports (Port Authority, Terminal Operators, etc.), Shipping Lines and/or Logistics are most welcomed
