The Search Technology Center (STC) is located in Beijing, China and is working in partnership with Live Search and Microsoft Research Asia to deliver innovative Internet Search products and services to the Chinese and global Internet markets.

Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for strong candidates who will help us build our next generation multimedia search platform. You will be instrumental in defining and implementing the next generation solution with the cutting edge technologies. You will be collaborating closely with MSR researchers and developers from the Windows Live Search team, and responsible for prototyping, architect/design, implementation, integration, and quality release of features that will drastically enhance the Live Search family of products and platform.
Required Qualifications:
The candidates should have strong problem solving skills, excellent coding/debugging skills, good communication skills, the eagerness to learn new technologies, and a proven track record. Knowledge and experience in all of the following areas is highly desired: Video/Image and Video/Image processing, CODEC...
The candidates must also be great team players, customer focused and results driven. BS or MS in Computer Science or related field is required. Chinese language skill is a plus.
