The CIBC and CS reports on Citi are way over blown, in my opinion.
Especially the CIBI report shows a basic lack of understanding of how SIV works at Citi. Citi is a major SIV manager, NOT an major investor in 70-80B worth of SIV asset it manages.

This is very similiar to the BSC case a few month ago when BSC was taken down to below $100/share.
Citi is a buy at $38/share, dividend or not. A huge 35M share buy order intraday today confirms it. The options implied volatility smile against historical volatility is a good indicator as well...It indicates pending major event for Citi near term.
The pressure on Citi shares might just what it needs to push out the CEO...
