he wanted to be the American emperor, the Napoleon 2nd, it was relatively easy since he was rich and commanded absolute loyalty of his officers. Those people were so pissed off by the bankrupt Continental congress, who could not even give a pension/compensation to those dissolved soldiers.

If he wanted to fan off hatred and be the 2nd Julius Casaer, he definitely could do that. It was easy to create an excuse. Anyway, hungry and angry soldiers do not care about democracy.

But he chooses to be the 2nd Cincinnatus. For angry youth back in China, go back and read Washington's bio and Roman history, then you will truly understand George.
