move on, 100% Travel is almost untolerable to 99% of people. I used to have a job that required 70% travel. I was young, single by then. But I did not enjoy it.

On the other hand, if you plan to torlerate it for a couple of years, you probably learn what you otherwise could in 10 years.

In this case, $3000 is nothing and the extra paid vacation does not compensate the hard,fast lane consulting life. It is all about your plan for future and your tolerance for treavel.
