1 i think you have mentioned that you have two master degrees.
you should look for jobs related to your field.

for assistant position, there is not much requirements, the employer would have gotten tons of resumes, therefore, the competition might not be less than position of higher level, you don't have any advantages.

2 regardless of location, go where the jobs are for entry level.
