Glad to have this many people on the same boat. I read all your postings. It seems that you know either software or financial market pretty well - some ones are even practitioner, and also full of enthusiasm of conducting this kind of business in China. Me too, for a wile.
I am just wondering if some of you are seriously considering it, not just lip service here, but get ready to hit the ground running. I have some contact in security firms, mutual funds, VC, IB in China, and can contribute my professionally-trained financial knowledge and business development capability(even not much *&*).
I just graduated recently and am jobless, at least now. For people like me and Techbull who is already looking for “happiness and sense of fullfillment, we get nothing to lose. I am not “three-min warm blood”, also fully understand how complicated and difficult it will be. But sometime we just overestimate the difficulties in China and underestimate our own abilities. The success of many returnees is not because of their smartness, their technologies, or whatever, just because they are brave and had good timing.
I strong believe the opportunities in China financial market is kind of once-in-life, and would like to make some friends here who share same interest and goals. I am in bay areas and can be reached at [email protected].
