I am biased being a guy from Shanghai. If it was for me, I would buy a used condo in a more desirable location in Shanghai. Of course the risk is lot higher due to the current higher prices. However, three months ago I checked you may be able to buy one in Jin An District for about 15,000 rmb per square foot. Not too bad. I don't know now because the situation changes by the week over there!!
