5 & 7 series have done a lot of preemption to people's mind, so now when the new M3 comes with the same style and design philosophy, it's no longer a big surprise (or should I call it astonishment when the first 7-series & Z4 with this kind of concept were introduced back in 2002).
Call me old-fashioned, but deep in my mind, I still hold the creed: simplicity is beauty and less is more.
