She obviously needs to justify to herself why she made the choice of leaving you for her current husband.
People is going think what they think, as long as your current or future wife (no idea if you are married or not) think the world of you, who gives sh!t what others think.
Plus I think there is a certain stigma associated with Chinese man that are considered likely be unfaithful. i.e. you need to be successful or you need to be good looking and charming, not all guys will get the same amount of temptation. So I think some Chinese guys rather not mind being labeled as such. It somewhat validates their alpha male status.
Hey it is what it is, why do you think people buy Porsches?
