Of course the root of the problem is at the administration, not Starbucks, but at this point, what do you think I can do, if what I want is to move Starbucks out of the Forbidden City?
A lot of times I think nationalism is quite stupid, but it is a fact of life, not a characteristic of Chinese (OK, maybe we are a little further down that road).
I for one would like to minimize commercial activities in the Forbidden City (or any other historic landmark site), but the pressure has to start from some where.
Too much criticism on the poor anchor man. While we sit here all day debating right or wrong, he was the one who actually did something about it.
