说海归网不想做大,不准确. 海归网就凭这名字,就做不"大".It is not the business model of haiguinet to become big, as it serves a very niche (but high end) market. Therefore you can see that Haiguinet has been putting up effort to initiate other business under the umbrella of Haiguinet. You were right that Laozhong's proposal is not strategically important to Langxie--a few more eyeballs are not going to fundamentally change Haiguinet's businese. It won't hurt either though.

Serving the greater good is just the byproduct of Laozhong's tireless search for beauty, and the Corner is too small and too local for that. He needs a bigger stage to play the numbers game, and this stage is not going to be an English corner.
Laozhong's intention is non-profit, whereas Haiguinet's is for profit. To align these two, the G4 forum should provide free consulting services but offer a for-profit service of match-making.
