Almost forget about the "Discover" card, which is losing market share rapidly in US to Visa/Mastercard. However it is still a cashcow.
From what I know, a friend of mine runs a bank issue CC in USA, MS is quitely looking for ways to deal with Discover. The culture clash between the Chicago based Discover Card and MS in NY was the root cause of PP's ouster a couple of years ago.
MS might rediscover "Discover card" in China...Let's wait and see.
