brands and the end results like dressing something from Wal-Mart, from which the clothing are for low income, low class, "trailer park white trash", etc. I am not anti-fashion. It depends on which class's fashion you are identified with. When I market cosmetics, almost the same product has different packaging (brands) and ads for different channels. (Of course the prices are different too, ranging from $5-10 for stores like Wal-Mart to $100 for high end dept. stores. material cost mostly less than 50 cents) . Also, some time is dangerous to imitate Pop Artists (actress especially). In the west, the majority audiences for movies/TV are low income/low class demographics. Marketers all know about this. Pop artists must dress and behave the way most their audience can identify with.
