Reporting Line: Plant Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
u Be responsible for technology improvement, new technology deployment, tooling design, job tooling, curative and preventive maintenance
u Continuous improvement and cost reduction focus by understanding of modern lean manufacturing techniques
u Cooperate with R&D center in Shanghai in new product acquisition, validation and introduction of new products
u Cooperate with Manufacturing Engineering center in Rugby for new processes development and deployment
u Evaluate and be selective with existing systems and processes in the above functions and make appropriate improvement，
u Be responsible for new investment payback
u Be responsible for his costs centers (tooling costs, maintenance cost…)
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
u Training in principles of management, lean manufacturing and finance is preferred
u 3 - 5 years' experience in similar positions in multinational automotive companies
u Strong leadership and influencing skill, team builder
u Ability to drive growth with “can-do spirit”
u Excellent execution skill
u A good communicator with a proven track record of delivering tangible results through effective management and delegation
u Fluent in spoken and written English (must be very good)
EADUCATION REQIREMENTS:
Master degree (engineer) with mechanical background is preferred.
