Sr. Validation Manager (ODM Management)
高级项目测试经理 （供应商管理）
Sr. Validation Manager is responsible for managing the qualification of product including platforms, peripherals or components. Duties include managing all validation activities necessary to take a product from concept to production by overseeing the development / qualification of associated systems / components / device drivers / applications. The sr. validation manager will be responsible for working with the core team, design team, cross-functional teams, and the suppliers to ensure the validation meets the requirements for functionality, compatibility, reliability, regulatory compliance, and industry standards of compliance. The position requires a combination of in depth technical skills related system / commodity validation knowledge, communication and strong supplier management skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead an extended, cross functional validation engineering team including but not limited to, Compatibility, Reliability, Shock & Vibe, Test Engineering, Thermal, Acoustics, Safety and Regulatory, to develop medium to high complexity platform / peripheral development projects.
Work with the core team and supplier on your assigned programs / supplier; develop and manage the validation engineering portion of the schedule, resources, risk management plan, qualification strategies / plan and etc.
Leads team / supplier to successfully deliver the goals for schedule, budget, issue management, and product quality.
Act as a Sr. consultant of supplier for cross validation activity management including; planning, execution, issue management, phase transition management, and Dell tools usage.
Define onsite supplier evaluation / bring up criteria, schedule ongoing training to supplier based upon agreed priority and high level time frame to enable supplier’s capabilities on validation associated competencies.
Requirements
Electronics engineering / Computer Science are preferred, with minimum 7+ years related working experience
For major commodity parts, understand the critical validating and PC system validating experience.
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, set priorities and work independently under aggressive timelines.
Ability to identify potential product weakness, provide design guidance and provide recommendations for improvements to subsequent redesigns.
Understanding of appropriate technologies, vendor products and competitor’s offering
Strong Supplier management skills
Excellent leadership and team work skill
Good communication within a highly matrix global organization
Fluent oral / written English;
Good interface / co-work capability;
Willing to take challenges and initiative to get things done
Willing to take long time business travel to supplier site
要求有PC,Notebook，desktop研发经验。海归人才，新加坡籍人优先。不符者勿试。
