when I left for USA, he was 4, so I never taught him math cuz when he got to USA, his math was at least 5 yrs ahead of his San Francisco classmates.
Then where did he learn his math to get into Berlekey's EE?
Well, it must come from his genes.
If u say his teacher taught him math,
Then why didn't most of his Beijing 101st High classmates reach the same level in math?

Having said the above, I was still astonished when I heard my son had been able to get and keep a pretty girl in THE most competitive place called Silicon Valley.
知子莫如父. I found his thoughts, approach and scheme were exactly the same as mine although relationship was never a topic in our conversation [The closest words I said to him was when he brought me a school letter I had to sign to excuse him not to attend an AIDS Awareness event: "Never touch non-Oriental girls, they might have AIDS!"]
So, once again, it must come from his genes.
As for his mother, she does not get any clue of it.
