System Testing Lead-Automation Testing
Responsibilities:
1. The Testing Lead will manage test coordination, consult and advise on multiple projects in Information Technology areas.
2. Conduct System Testing for applications to ensure requirements are met and defects are managed.
3. Responsible for finalizing, creating and maintaining automation scripts.
4. Effectively engage application teams, experts, and leadership as needed.
5. Drive the strategy for the usage of the Mercury Suite and work with each project and application team to ensure the proper use of the Mercury Test Suite to achieve testing requirements.
6. Responsible for maintaining standards of excellence in technical execution of application testing including advising/mentoring teams on issues during the testing/QA process and developing/enforcing adherence to software testing standards, testing scope, quality, and deliverables.
Skills Required:
1. BS in Computer Science (or related field) and minimum 5-6 years relevant experience including 3 years of managing direct reports
2. Minimum 5 yrs experience quality, application testing or application development
3. Minimum 3+ Year in Automation with Quick Test Pro 8.2 (and above) - Business Process Testing, Winrunner & Quality Center or Test director tools.
4. Strong experience in mercury Test Director or Quality Center administration skills, including server side administration.
5. Knowledge on Oracle, SQL, MySQL Database and/or ERP/eBusiness Solutions i.e. PeopleSoft& Oracle Applications will be added advantage.
6. Demonstrated leadership experience including globally distributed mixed teams.
7. Ability to anticipate potential problems, determine and implement solutions. Strong qualitative and analytical skills
8. High level of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
9. Strong interpersonal skills, including coaching skills (individual and team), influence and negotiation skills, excellent communication skills, project management, strong facilitation and meeting planning skills.
