Position: Siebel CRM (Sales) Business Systems Analyst, IT—051
Key Responsibilities:
This is a key position for a senior level IT business systems analyst who has demonstrable, up-to-date and hands-on technical & enterprise systems knowledge with the relative background to take prime responsibility for satisfying the Our company APAC (Asia Pacific) business application systems requirements with focus on the Sales and Marketing business functions.
This position will require working closely with senior business executives in Sales to fully identify their IT application requirements (including new project, enhancement requests and support), ensure alignment of those needs with global IT priorities/ business initiatives, and work in collaboration with the Our company HQ Global Business Applications team in Sunnyvale, CA USA to deliver solutions.
The scope of this role will be focused in the Sales application area, including processes within the ‘Offering to Order’ business cycle. A well-rounded understanding of the business processes and operational functions within sales and marketing, including product configurations, pricing, discounts, opportunities, quotes, prospects/customers/install base tracking, and order management and fulfillment is required. Exposure to more detailed product marketing and finance processes as well as working knowledge in BI (Business Intelligence) is also highly desirable.
The successful candidate will have an extensive Siebel CRM - Sales application systems background and hands-on experience of managing the full lifecycle of IT application system implementations within multi-national companies where employees are dispersed globally. The candidate portfolio should include formal IT background/training, first-hand understanding of business processes, systems analysis/consultancy, project management, applications support, high-level business communication acumen, and a demonstrable track record of execution and delivery.
This position will be based in Hong Kong, China but may require frequent travel to other Our company office locations within Asia and occasional travel to the U.S. and other Our company regions.
Essential Functions:
• Partner with Our company APAC Sales Management team to support APAC sales systems and processes
• Serve as IT focal point of contact in the region, with ownership and accountability for all Sales systems related issues
• Collaborate with the NetApp Global Business Application support and development teams to manage and support ongoing business operations in the ‘Offering to Order’ business cycle
• Collaborate and partner with senior Sales leadership team to jointly define and refine the APAC Sales business requirements
• Establish excellent working relationship with internal customers as well as key corporate and other regional IT teams; leverage Managed Service Provider (MSP) resources to deliver seamless IT support to business functions
• Proactively partner with APAC business process owners to drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies, provide guidance and recommend scalable solutions to satisfy cross-functional business requirements, while maintaining a cohesive systems architecture consistent with corporate IT strategy and guidelines
• Where required and relating to APAC applications portfolio/ projects, manage key vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service level agreements (internal and external)
• Deliver technical direction and solutions, consistent with Global IT strategy and direction
• Foster a positive team environment
Qualifications and background:
• Ten+ years experience in information technology, with at least three to five years of project management experience leading and managing application systems on a regional APAC basis in a fast moving, global, multi-national technology company
• Proven experience and track record supporting the entire range of CRM applications, with focus especially in Oracle - Siebel CRM Applications Version 8
• In-depth CRM systems knowledge, minimum of 3-5 years experience in Siebel CRM Sales functional module supporting inside sales, field sales, and channel sales partners
• A strong and broad background in enterprise systems, program management and infrastructure technologies, with demonstrable success in collaboration with business units for strategic/ large scale IT project implementations, gained within global corporations which have scaled
• Strong business/ relevant industry acumen with the ability to quickly and thoroughly understand business priorities, operations, and IT systems enablement potential
• Large scale project and program management exposure, including full-cycle implementation and global rollout of tier-1 application systems (e.g. Oracle, Siebel, SAP). Must have experience with managing regional rollouts of a global program, including conducting system performance testing, stress testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, conversion/cutover execution, and production deployment/onsite go-live support.
• Post-production regional support responsibility for a major high-tech company in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic and global environment.
• Broad current knowledge of business technology applications, current trends in IT, and experience evaluating/implementing outsourced solutions and service providers
• Must demonstrate an impeccable track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget set by very ambitious project deadlines in a fast-paced growing business environment
• Extensive IT Program management experience, ideally ITIL qualified
• Sound understanding of business processes in hi-tech businesses and the know-how to develop and maximize opportunities for exploiting technology in support of the business
• Global team player with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks against set deadlines
• The ideal candidate will have worked for storage, networking or related high-technology companies and will have a track record of handling rapid growth
• Fluency in both English and Chinese with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BS in information technology or computer science is required
