Types of retail analytics project that are expected to be sold and supported by the candidate are:
· Merchandising optimization (category macro and micro space assortment)
· Store clustering and customer segmentation
· Pricing strategy and analytics
· Promotional effectiveness and analytics
Relevant experience in these content/.functional areas is therefore required.
Candidates for this position have a strong industry and/or business consulting background in marketing and customer analytics/ insights related functional area. Candidates have extensive experience in APAC and preferably in the Greater China region (either through an industry position or from a services/ consulting perspective).
The following experience is required for this role:
· University degree from reputable institution
· Minimum 6 years industry or relevant consulting experience within the retail industry
· Fluency in both Mandarin and English
· Practical and professional experience in applied analytics within consumer products, retail, marketing or sales
· Extensive leadership and project management experience
· Extensive industry experience in Greater China
· Excellent communications skills (including written and spoken English and Mandarin)
· Willingness to travel extensively (within Asia Pacific)
