Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Director, Greater China - Beijing
We are looking for a seasoned, savvy and energetic finance professional for
the role of FP&A Director in Beijing. In this role, which reports in to our
FP&A organization in the US, you will be responsible for running all Financial
Planning & Analysis for Greater China and managing a cross-functional, cross-
channel FP&A team. Key responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting,
supporting the launch of new initiatives and taking a leadership role in
defining financial and operational strategy and new processes. We are looking
for independent, solution-oriented candidates who know how to use analysis to drive business action. You will gain invaluable experience in this fast-track
role, which offers extensive interaction with senior-level management.
Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded top performer who can be a key
contributor in a high-energy growth environment. Your resume should indicate that you are a top academic performer with a wide variety of extracurricular interests and the desire to excel in everything you do. Your work history demonstrates job stability with increasing levels of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all FP&A activities for Greater China, partnering with leaders from the sales, engineering, product/marketing and G&A organizations
2. Mentor and provide guidance to a team of financial and business analysts each dedicated to supporting a specific function or sales channel
3. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop business models and plans for new regions, channels, products and programs
4. Define, analyze and communicate key metrics and business trends for the China management team
5. Understand, analyze and model existing operational processes to recommend changes that improve overall performance and economics.
6. Communicate with and present business findings and strategic recommendations to senior management
Requirements:
1. BA/BS from a leading undergraduate institution and a top academic performer.
2. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
3. 10-15 years financial analysis experience preferably from a leading investment bank, consulting firm, or Fortune 500 / high growth company preferred
4. Demonstrated top quartile performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence; strong interest in pursuing a Finance career
5. Outstanding project and people management skills; team player with a positive attitude and a focus on business issues
6. Demonstrated ability to lead and drive complex operational initiatives.
7. Demonstrated strategic, cross-functional thinker; operational strategy experience preferred.
8. Superior problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate with management team.
9. Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation writing and delivery.
