GENERAL SUMMARY:
Works on application support needs of moderate scope where analysis of specifications or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods, logic and techniques for programming solutions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Primary responsibility is application support
2. Work as liaison between IT technical team and business users
3. May submit recommendations for solutions.
4. Coordinate bug fixes, issues resolutions between IT team and business team.
5. May assist computer operators with problems relating to software and hardware.
6. Escalates issues.
7. Prioritizes own work and may provide some assistance to entry-level programmer and analysts.
8. Analyzes basic business needs and offers creative tentative and long term solutions.
9. Assists in establishing group priorities relative to basic business needs.
10. Develops a detailed understanding of a functional area within .
11. Understands culture; possesses desired "core" behaviors.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• General
o Must have logical capability to resolve issues
o Good communication capability regardless language barriers
o Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2-4 years professional experience.
• Technical
o Must have basic IT skills such as knowledge about operating systems, network, software, etc.
o Applied in-depth knowledge of one or more platforms applicable to the IT environment
o Web application development/support experience preferred
• Language
o Japanese (Read/Write/Speak) language is must
o Moderate English skill preferred
