Job Title: Sr. Market Development and Business Planning Manager (Urgent)
Grade: E09 or E10
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
*. Collect, analyze market intelligence of customers, potential customer, competitors, channel, industry trend, Government legislation, regional dynamic (people relations, institute relations).
*. Provide regular intelligence reports to SBU, regional sales, business development, product development team to ensure business decisions are based on objective data and facts.
*. Marketing communication - Develop strategy and plan to build Motorola brand in industry. cable TV operators, telco and consumers' home .
*. Plan and organize marketing communication activities in the region to align the with the strategic focus of the AP CHS.
*. Manage marketing communication spend within the budget
*. Coordinate and integrate accurate business and sales forecast for the region. ?
Specific Knowledge/Skills
*. At least 6 years experience in the cable TV and telecom industry in China;
*. Able to build build multiple channel and ways to get market intelligence, rather than just based on the consultant report;
*. Able to analyze, master and priorities findings from the tremendous information sources to define useful marketing intelligence for business leaders to make viable decision.
*. Build system (compass site) and channels to capture and distribute intelligence in the organization.
*. Focus on actual deliverables rather than data mining
Good writing skills
*. Positive , collaborative,and persistent
*. Resourceful, problem solver rather than problem identifier.
*. Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin
*. Comfortable to work in a highly matrix organization
