Senior Sales Consultant – Application Technology
KEY OBJECTIVE:
-Provide practical pre-sales assistance to Application Sales Executives, Account Managers and Partners in an agreed area of Application solutions that supports, and maximises Oracle’s sales initiatives in the JDE Solution area.
-Analyse, define, articulate and own the JDE solutions that address specific customer requirements during the sales cycle.
-Provide technical, architectural advises to the clients, as well as the JDE solution team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Scope client’s business requirements, identify and assist in the positioning of applications solutions to address those requirements. Especially on the technical part of the solution.
-Articulate JDE architecture / technology solution to clients. Differentiate Oracle strength over competitors. Present strong product knowledge on JDE Enterprise – Workflow, Dev Tools, Apps Security, Report, Mobile/Wireless and LCM
-Assist the sales team in the qualification of application sales opportunities.
-Respond to tenders, RFI’s, RFP’s, proposals for application product information
-Provide presentations and demonstrations of Oracle JDE applications solution sets. .
-Provide assistance in the distribution of new product information, application workshops, and solution strategies.
-Focus on “Application Enablement”, i.e., IT infrastructure required to run the Apps, including Fusion Middleware, Database, Grid, OLAP, DW, 3rd party software, system management tool, HW and DB sizing
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING:
-BS or MS in Computer, Engineering or related major. Technically strong, with some level of business, accounting knowledge.
-Over 3 years of relevant experience, with enterprise package software (JDE) experience is a must. Experience with product sales consulting, implementation, support and/or IT is a major plus. Knowledge on Oracle and competitor technology is also a plus.
-Fluent with and Mandarin (must), and English (plus). good in communication skill.
