BACKGROUND
我们的客户是一世界著名的国际陶瓷权威机构, 总部为于英国. 现与中国权威陶瓷集团合作成立中国最具规模的陶瓷检测中心, 为中国陶瓷行业乃至周边国家和地区的企业提供欧盟标准的检测和认证工作.
Our client is a company registered in England and having its registered office in Stoke-on-Trent, English. It is a world-class provider of technical, manufacturing and business services to the global ceramics industry.
RESPONSIBILITY
The Business Development Manager will report to Dr Graham Small and will work very closely with the marketing team, who will be available to support him/her in all activities.
Specific tasks will include
o The development and maintenance of a client database
o Promotion & sale of consultancy services of behalf of the company
o Assistance in the development and definition of additional consultancy services beyond those specified in the current collaboration agreement.
Sales targets will be defined by mutual agreement between the Business Development Manager and Dr Graham Small and performance will be monitored and discussed on a regular basis.
Provision will be made for the Business Development Manager to visit company’s offices in England for training and business review meetings. Dr Graham Small and other headquarter managers will make regular visits to China to ensure good communications.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following attributes …
o Honours degree or equivalent in commerce / business
o Fluent in English and Mandarin
o At least 5 years of working experience in a technology / manufacturing environment [ideally ceramics]
o at least 2 years experience of working with a western company in a business development role
o Well developed IT communication skills [Microsoft office]
o Good presentational & interpersonal skills
o Willing to spend up to 100 days per year travelling away from home.
REPORTING LINE
The candidate will report to Dr Small, Manager based in UK.
SALARY INDICATION
o negotiable.
o Bonus payment of 5% of revenues to the client from manufacturing and business consultancy services payable in the month following the month in which payment is received by CERAM. The maximum bonus payable in any calendar year to be 40,000RMB.
o Accommodation provided free of charge
