Position Title: Group Product Director – Product Management
Position Location: Beijing, China
Major responsibilities:
• Establish short and long term product goals and strategies and provide strong leadership to a group of product development staff.
• Build and manage a product roadmap to support company’s goals and strategies.
• Work closely with the sales organization to seek first-hand feedback from the market and ensure that the products delivered to the market may fully meet customers’ needs.
• Initiate and prioritize projects within engineering; track and supervise product development and develop product launch plans.
• Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods and reasonable execution schedules.
• Mentor a group of product managers to build innovative products while creating relationships throughout the organization.
Experience/skills:
• 10+ years of product management experience, ideally with consumer software development background or product development experience in cutting edge consumer electronics industry.
• Rich experience in team management, especially experience in managing and motivating a group of product managers in a highly innovative R&D environment.
• Strong technical background and highly creative. S/he must be a great thinker who can provide innovative ideas and leadership in product development to the team. CS degree is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills including ability to build effective working relationships; strong entrepreneur spirit with passion to take challenges.
• Demonstrated experience shipping products (concept to launch).
• A Chinese ethnic with overseas education/working background is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English (must be able to make presentations to large groups in English).
