We are urgently searching candidates for three management postions (2 in Shanghai, 1 in Beijing) for European-based company. Yearly compensation level between 400-600K RMB. Job descriptions as following (also attached):

Position Title: Senior Business Development Manager [Command & Control - Vessel Traffic Management]

This position is to assist the Managing Director to implement business planning. Coordinate and direct business development activities. Develop relationships with business partners/system integrators. Generate new business opportunities, maintain accounts and develop new business. Maintain frequent communication at executive level. Manages and trains staff team. Provide strategic and tactical guidance to staff team to maximize market success. Coordinating of team efforts across companies and functional groups.

Reporting : Managing Director
Department : Vessel Traffic Management
Region : China
Location : Shanghai

Key Responsibilities

1. Participates in the development of business plan and strategy for the development of Vessel Traffic business revenue streams.
2. Identifies new business opportunities for evaluations that are consistent with objectives.
3. Implements business plan to ensure the profitable business.
4. Recommend new businesses and develop action plans.
5. Lead and manage staff team to achieve revenue and profit target.
6. Establishes standards for employee productivity and performance and monitors results.
7. Develops and implements appropriate employee training programs and monitors the professional development of employees in the work unit.
8. As directed by the Managing Director, represents the business in meetings with business partners, system integrators and key accounts.
9. Coordinate and collaborate across functions to achieve operation efficiency.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must possess the following:

Education
• Engineering degree preferably complemented with management/business training
• Proficiency skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Experience
• Over 10 years experience
• At least 5 years proven sales experiences (quotas, achievement)
• Management Experience
• Ability to handle portfolio of products
• Effective presentation and oral communications skills.
• Ability to provide leadership that instill employee pride, morale and commitment to performance excellence.

Personality
• Outgoing, presentable and have good communication skills.
• Customer-oriented.
• Creative
• Capable of bottom-line responsibility
• Good team player

Position Title: Operations Manager
This position is to steer and follow-up the complete end-to-end service operations (including helpdesk support, call centers, field and depot repair, spare parts, …) on a daily and long term basis in order to ensure all contract requirements for the different product lines, to address the customer’s service requests and to achieve/ maximize customer satisfaction and internal productivity.

Reporting : General Manager Control Room Competence Center China
Department : Control Room
Region : China
Location : Beijing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Steers and follows up the overall daily performance of the service delivery after confirmation of On-site-Acceptance Test, oversees daily activities, maintains a survey or scorecard system, in order to create optimum customer satisfaction, even if these services are delivered through dealers or third parties.

2. Identifies potential problems, troubleshoots, escalates issues to management, and participates in post-mortem analysis of problems providing input for future process/design improvements

3. Defines and manages the required human resources. Performs all necessary supervisory functions, develops and implement various KPI’s to ensure performance to customer expectations and monitors group as required. Develops competences in the team, by knowledge transfer or training (Technical and non-technical skills) in order to enable the people involved in the service delivery process, to execute the service strategy and achieve these goals.

4. Provides continuous feedback to management on the overall service performance, including customer satisfaction, service performance, second day reporting, Accounts receivables overdue, and warranty costs. Implements corrective actions as appropriate, and keeps management promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

5. Defines and manages the spare parts and inventories. Performs all necessary supervisory functions, develops and implements necessary procedures to ensure the availability of the appropriate level of spare parts and inventories and the related procurement process in order to optimize the service delivery process.

6. Responsible for selling maintenance contract. Follow up and ensure maintenance services are delivered to the satisfactory of the customers.

7. Maintain proper record of the systems under maintenance. Consolidate information and keep the sales team informed to ensure the upgrade/replacement opportunities are addressed in a timely manner.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must possess the following:

Education
• Engineering Degree with business studies
• Proficiency skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Experience
• 8 years experience in customer service and engineering management, of which 5 years at management level.
• Ability to handle portfolio of projection products.
• High level Presentation Skills, Project Management Technique and Customer Orientation.
• Self-starter, proactive, assertive, good communication skills
• Problem-solving, numerate and analytical in approach
• Comfortable working in a small dynamic team where flexibility and creativity are essential
• Ability to prioritize
• Ability to provide leadership that instills employee pride, morale and commitment to performance excellence.

Position Title: Key Account Manager – Multi-National Accounts
This role of the Key Account Manager is to build and grow the company business volume with Fortune 300 companies in China. The role requires solid sales, communication, account management, marketing and analytical skills.

Reporting to : Managing Director China
Department : Business Development
Region : China
Location : Shanghai

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop top key US and European accounts.
2. Be accountable for closing deals with Fortune 300 companies for all business units.
3. Own the consolidated quota for Fortune 300 companies for all business units.
4. Negotiate customer contracts in accordance with overall company sales strategy.
5. Work with and coordinate between sales persons of various business units.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must possess the following:

Education
• Top University Level Engineering Degree with business studies.
• Perfect written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Experience
• 5 years proven key multi-national account management experiences in hi-tech industry.
• Proven sales and deal closing skills.
• Existing relationship network with key decision makers at Fortune 300 companies.
• Capable of rapidly understanding and analyzing new technologies and markets.
• Possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a combination of high energy, self-confidence and interpersonal skills
• Effective presentation and project management skills.

Personality
• Sociable and presentable.
• Team player.
