Many years ago while in college chasing girls, I read an old analogy - Chasing a girl is like playing peek-a-boo(sp? In Chinese - ZHUO(1) MI(2) CANG(2):
so what happens when you chase someone in the game? The faster you chase, the faster that someone will run. If you stop, that someone would stop too. If you hide somewhere, after waiting for you for some time, that someone would probably be looking for you.
Its the same for chasing girls:
Rule #1: Don't be a fast runner: If you really have feelings for someone, remind yourself – SLOW IT DOWN! The easiest way to drive your target way is the straight-forward confessions of your feelings for her on the first date. Instead, keep it cool and use your brain on how to attract her - display of talent, personality, etc. Or simply, just be yourself.
