We are an emerging software consulting and development company focusing on developing enterprise-class business management applications. Software that we developed is being used by fortune 500 corporations, government agencies and other large organizations.
We have a need to hire Project Managers who will serve as a liaison between the client's system engineering team and our software development center in China. This is a high-profile position with frequent interactions with top level executives in both DigiCentury and the client’s organization. Major responsibilities for this position include:
1.Manage the on-time delivery of project deliverables to customers and provide leadership and advice to customers;
2.Perform extensive quality control throughout the whole product development life cycle;
3.Define and ensure the use of quality software development processes and methodologies;
4.Define, analyze and document project scope, requirements, user manuals, system design and delivery schedules;
5.Manage client’s expectations;
6.Ability to manage deadlines and pressures;
7.Assist in capitalizing on new business development opportunities with both existing and potential customers.
Required skills:
1.5+ years project management experience;
2.Hands-on design and development experience with Microsoft .NET development framework and SQL Server database;
3.Expertise with object-oriented design and n-tier system architecture;
4.Solid understanding and hands-on experience with relational database design for major business applications;
5.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and business users;
6.Fluent English AND Chinese language skills;
DigiCentury Corporation, with Headquarters in the Northern California Bay Area, is a tier one China-based offshore IT outsourcing company certified by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. This position will be based either in Phoenix, Arizona at the customer’s site or Guangzhou, China at our development center. The job will require a daily working schedule that will cover part of the US working hours and part of the China working hours.
