1. More than 10 years of operation experience in IC production related responsibilities,
including but not limiting to:
Manufacturing services & supplier chain management (interface with
foundries/packaging/testing houses, pricing negotiations)
Production control and engineering (yield improvement)
Customer services
Material management (inventory control)
2. Minimum
4 years of management position in a fabless IC design house or fab

new products are designed for manufacturability and testability while achieving
lowest total cost and highest quality
Product & Test Engineering Manager
Requirements:
BSEE or higher
10+ years IC Product / Test Engineering Experience
At least 5 years of managerial experience (all at a COMMERCIAL semiconductor
company).
Proven ability to architect test programs & define test hardware, proven track
record for new product development and manufacturing transfer, analog
experience.
Outstanding project and people management skills.
Ability to juggle many projects, prioritize, and react to the needs of a
fast-paced environment.
Responsible for Product release and transfer to wafer foundries
Provide product related technical support to Design and Marketing teams
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Will lead the efforts of the Product & Test Engineering groups in a China-based
fables IC design company.
Heavy involvement in both new product development and manufacturing transfer.

I.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary focus of this position will be responsible for system design and
changes related to the test and development systems in video related products
generated by the Engineering department.
II.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
-Responsible for Evaluating digital video signals and compressed digital video
formats and testing these formats for adherence to standards and to verify
picture quality.
-Participate in projects or initiatives that require expert assistance in video
quality, format, testing or compression technologies.
-Responsible for cabling changes required to support Test and Development
efforts and maintaining system documentation by creating or updating information
when changes are made.
-Responsible for system design, integration and any testing required in support
of Test and Development efforts.
-Make sure Test and Development systems are fully operational and updated with
the latest software and hardware versions. Maintain proficiency on these
systems.
-Be operationally and technically proficient in order to assist in support of
broadcast operations and Post Production systems.
-Keep abreast of technological industry trends.
-Keep abreast of ongoing changes in relation to studio standards and
conventions.
-Work side by side with the Chief Engineer and System Manager to ensure that all
systems are implemented and maintained to the highest possible standards.
-Assists in the planning for changing operational system needs of the company.
-Provides Engineering support through communication and working closely with
other departments.
-Develop training courses for technical staff members as needed.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
A.KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
-PhD's Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent related
experience.
B.SKILLS
1. REQUIRED
-Minimum of 2 years experience with video systems, working with digital video
including experience with analog to digital conversions as well as format
conversions.
-Experience with Microsoft, Unix OS.
-Ability to use test equipment to evaluate composite and digital video signals.
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
-Experienced with TV/Video encoder and/or decoder.
2.
DESIRED
-Comprehension of MPEG II Main profile as well as other Studio Digital video
standards or implementations.
-Thorough understanding of SDTV and HDTV standards, implementation and
applications.
