RESPONSIBILITIES
As the China market is becoming more and more important to the company’s global business; the Company has initiated this management trainee program aiming for identifying and cultivating young PRC local talents with potential of growth into a future global business leader.
The company intends to create one or more roles at a senior level that suit the experience, interest and developmental needs of the candidate(s) selected, to ensure they can learn as much as possible about the business and culture of the Company, and settle into the Company before progressing.
The management trainee will be based in Shanghai and will take job rotation in various locations where the company’s business has matured and established operation. Report to the functional head of related area, the successful candidate will be given opportunities to involve in decision making process as well as autonomies in running a business function. In return, s/he should demonstrate good capability to cope with the job and grow with the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
Some of the key requirements are listed below:
High potential in late 20s’ or early 30s’
First degree in science or business with second degree preferably in MBA
5 years’ professional experience, commercial related is highly preferred
Analytical, strategic thinker with good interpersonal skills
International experience gained through working or studying abroad, working is highly preferred
Geographic mobility and cross-cultural flexibility
Fluency in English plus another Asian language
Strong general management potential
