Well, I travel a lot but seldom write anything - I hated travelling. While driving to airport this morning, I decided to change, to be a "good man" by trying to enjoying trip... I guess I have succeeded, at least first day.
[1] parking tricks. It was almost 9:30am when I arrived at airport parking. The guard told me to go to parking space on 7th floor. "Yeah, right...", I know it was on roof top. Thinking about the snowstorm forcasted this afternoon, I did not want to park my car in the open space. I drove my car to the top and used the exit to drove down 6th floor despite the FULL sign. Haha... i was right. There were plenty of spaces there So here is the trick: use your judgement when the parking garage clerks give you direction.
[2]Delta Song. Delta Song is the low cost subsidiary of Delta airline. Actually I like the business model as a frequent flyer. It offers 33inch legroom; individualized entertainment center; all leather seats; electronic check in system. I heard it has pure Boeing 757 fleet. Anyway, it is a nice concept except passengers have to pay for the food. The drinks are free of charge.
[3]Hooters. I got a bright red Grand AM at Avis. My partner and I headed directly to Mariott at International drive. After checking in, we went out to have a drink in Hooters. It turned out to be quite a experience: THE GIRLS ARE HOT !!!! There is a sign at the gate: SPICY FOOD/COLD BEERS/HOT GIRLs. My parter was droolling at those hot chicks. The waitress for our table was just gorgeously HOT. She told my partner she was only 18 when he tried to ask her for a date We were surprised there were some kids eating there too.
[4]We went to hotel to take care of emails/voicemails later. Then we drove to Samba Room in Sand lake road. It is a nice restaurant, great food. My partner had Samuel Adams and I ordered a local beer (forgot the name). We ordered some paella and Chealean Sea Bass. The food was done perfectly. The presentation was quite up to the par. At about 10.15, we both got tired so we went to hotel.
